Why abortion is murder
Among some of the most highly talked about issues in America these days, abortion is at the top of the list. What has helped sparked the popularity of this topic is when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade making abortion illegal; Roe vs. Wade legalized the right to abortion in 1973. I could talk about the history of abortion in the U.S. but I’ll get to the meat and potatoes on why abortion is wrong.
In all cases excluding safety reasons, abortion is murder. Some say abortion isn’t wrong except for cases in which an extremely rare emergency abortion may be needed, say, to save the mother’s life when both the baby and mother will die with all other avenues having been tried; it is obvious that we don’t live in a perfect world and every scenario is different. But, if abortion isn’t needed for health reasons, abortion is murder in every single case.
According to these several sources, “there is no situation in which an abortion is medically necessary” and “[w]e confirm that the prohibition of abortion does not affect, in any way, the availability of optimal care to pregnant women.” (Rose and Harrison; “Premature Delivery Is Not Induced Abortion”).
However, other articles say that an emergency abortion may be necessary for the health of the mother.
For example, this article says the following:
“There are situations where pregnancy termination in the form of the abortion is the only medical intervention that can preserve a patient’s health or save their life,” the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Physicians for Reproductive Health wrote in a 2019 joint statement. (Solis-Moreira, Jocelyn)
Even if there are extremely rare cases in which an emergency abortion is needed, they are just that—extremely rare—and overall we can say that abortion is murder.
Each scenario is different and it seems that the persons involved may need to use discernment. At the end of the day, they know what their intentions are.
You don’t have to listen to my stance on this issue because God, the author of everyone and the Creator of morality, says it is wrong. Not only does He say it is wrong, but you know it is wrong as well. Your conscience tells you it is not right. Plain and simple: it is murder. I could post just a few Bible verses to give you God’s view on the topic but you can visit this webpage to get many more:

Gotquestions.org also has a great article discussing abortion related to God’s Will:

People can argue and say a human hasn’t formed yet. But, we all know that the zygote was going to become a human being at some point in the future. If it is morally wrong to murder someone at, say, the age of two, why is it morally right to murder them prior to them being born knowing that they would have almost definitely become a human being to reach the age of two?
People can say that it’s “my body, my choice.” While God certainly gives us plenty of freedom and isn’t a controlling puppet master looking down at all of His creation while scrutinizing every single action we make, this is not an example of a choice God embraces. In this case, the human life supersedes liberty. The human life has rights — in this case fetal rights — just like all of us. Just because the person cannot think or stand up for themselves yet doesn’t mean he or she doesn’t have rights. People with disabilities that may not be able to stand up for themselves have rights, right? Why is this different?
Finally, a failproof rebuttal to close the case on why abortion is wrong:
For those who claim abortion is good, you wouldn’t even be here if you were aborted; you wouldn’t even be able to argue in favor of it.

Why do people think they can end someone’s life when that person didn’t do anything wrong but nobody should be able to do the same to them? Doesn’t this follow the golden rule to a certain extent? Matthew 7:12 in the Bible states: “so in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets” (New International Version). Would you want to be murdered in the womb? It’s ultimately God’s creation and we don’t get to decide who lives or doesn’t. This kind of power is only in the hands of our maker (the person doesn’t deserve capital punishment for a crime they haven’t committed).
Just because many are pro-choice and it’s increasing in popularity, doesn’t mean it’s morally right. Many people choose to reject God and are “Hellbound,” but that clearly doesn’t make it right either. According to Fox News, more than 63 million abortions have taken place in the U.S. since 1973. 63 million people have essentially been legally murdered. Further into the article, “former Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards has argued that ‘there’s no specific moment when life begins’ and that hers began when her children were born” (Morris, Kyle, and Sam Dorman). It sounds like she declared “a moment when life begin” for herself based upon her own personal, made-up definition. For another person, they could say life began for their children when they hit the age of 10 years old.
Abortion isn’t a matter of opinion just as there being more than two genders isn’t a matter of opinion. Rather, God said there are only two genders and that abortion is wrong. He only designed two genders and defined that a person in the womb is a human being. You can hate me all you want for posting this but it’s the truth. If you are a person who has had an abortion, God says He can forgive you. As with all of our transgressions, there is no going back and undoing what has already been done. The only sin that cannot be forgiven is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit:
