Climate change in the Last Days
Over the years, global warming has been a much-talked-about topic. From Al Gore’s activism earning him the Nobel Peace Prize to Greta Thunberg becoming a poster child, climate change has been an issue of rising concern. Now, more than ever, corporations and governments are starting to clamp down by introducing restrictive measures. Examples include Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) scores; the promotion of eating bugs to reduce carbon footprints by the World Economic Forum (WEF); the farming crisis in the Netherlands where the government has stepped in to reduce emissions; and so forth.
While the jury is still out on whether global warming is true (though science seems to support some type of global warming), one thing that is for sure: “global warming” will be used as leverage to control citizens. The idea that citizens can do the “right thing” and save humanity by reducing their carbon footprint will allow corporations and governments to better dominate society as a whole. In the near future, many will surrender their freedom, thinking they are being good people. Anyone who goes against this herd mentality of governments and corporations protecting their sheep—or should I say goats in this case—may well be slaughtered; if this happens during the Tribulation in the book of Revelation, they may literally be slaughtered (see Revelation 20:4).
The truth of the matter is that while we are called to be good stewards of the land, it is ultimately in God’s hands—not those of controlling governments or corporations. The wrath of God is real, and this is all part of God’s sovereign plans. If we do everything within our power to do what is right, and within reason, that’s all we can do. In the end, God will restore this corrupted Earth with the New Heaven and the New Earth as explained here: https://www.gotquestions.org/new-heavens-earth.html (“What Are the New Heavens and the New Earth?”). Here is additional content about the “New Heaven and New Earth”:
What will the New Heaven and New Earth be like?
When people think of Heaven, they think of a cloud-filled place somewhere above and beyond this universe where there are angels, people singing and playing instruments like harps, and complete tranquility. There are many misconceptions and circulated myths surrounding this topic. Humans have created their own versions of Heaven, as is the case with all other invented religions. They often don’t…
Just how bad is climate change getting? Let’s look at some recent events:
We are seeing record heat and fires in Greece (“Greece Fires Force More Evacuations from Rhodes and Other Islands as a New Heat Wave Bears Down”):

A record—potentially a world record—101+ degree Fahrenheit water temperature was recorded in the Florida Keys (Cohen):
All types of heat records are being broken across the globe—from US cities like Phoenix to entire regions including North America, Europe, and China (Bushard; “Extreme Heat in North America, Europe and China in July 2023 Made Much More Likely by Climate Change”):
and
One study said the Gulf Stream could collapse as early as 2025, which would bring catastrophic climate impacts (Cohen):
Finally, to recap the locations mentioned above and include Death Valley, California, here is a link (Lee):
As we head toward the Tribulation, the weather will get even worse. Just by observing the weather these days along with other signs, we can deduce that we aren’t too far away from total chaos ensuing. Those who follow the Antichrist will be fooled into thinking we can actually save the planet when it is only God Himself, the Savior of humanity, who can do such a thing. Until then, the world as a whole is going to get increasingly darker and, as Thomas Fuller once stated, “it is said that the darkest hour of the night comes just before the dawn.”
